Dental Restoration (Dental filling)

Dental Restoration (Dental filling)

Dental restoration or filling is a treatment to restore missing tooth structure.
Missing tooth structure can be due to any of the reason like decay in tooth, or
broken teeth by any accidental issue. Cavity/decays make tooth hollow which
requires further urgent attention through composite filling. Composite Filling
helps to fill the gap and protect it from further decay. A filling is also used to
repair broken or cracked tooth and the teeth which wear off due to dental
habits.
A composite (tooth coloured-widely used in dentistry due to various
advantages of composite filling) filling is used to repair a tooth that is affected
by decay, cracks, fractures, etc. The decayed or affected portion of the tooth
will be removed and then filled with a composite filling.
There are many types of filling materials available, each with their own
